1. I am the actual CEO and co-founder of BIGGBY COFFEE
2. I do all this myself
3. it&#039;s a real conversation with one person
4. I love making friends

More importantly, though, I want to say that this is something I&#039;ve finally realized in the last couple weeks. For quite some time, you were praising the virtues of Twitter, but I didn&#039;t get what the point of it was. I had my account and said something every now and then. But, I didn&#039;t really treat it as an ambient info stream. 

Granted, you won&#039;t see any immediate benefit from being active online, if you think you have something worthwhile to say, say it. Everyone has opinions on what matters to them. Find other people who want to discuss those topics that matter to you, and join in their discussions. You can&#039;t treat Twitter as a provided service. Instead, take an active part in it. Communicate with people interested in the same things as you.

I don&#039;t want to write a very lengthy reply here, but I am planning on touching on a lot of this stuff on my blog post next week.
